A skeleton was found in the 1970s with bones from five people. Now Archaeologists have solved the mystery of this skeleton made of bones from people who lived 2,500 years apart

Skeletal remains of the Red Lady of Paviland with text below saying: These skeletal remains (without a skull) were discovered in Paviland cave in the Gower peninsula, south Wales in January 1823 by Anglican priest William Buckland from the University of Oxford. They are 33,000 years old & are stained with red ochre. Buckland thought the skeleton belonged to a woman and so they came to be called the Red Lady of Paviland.
